The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is holding Envision, a conference for high school girls to learn about STEM careers on February 25 (sorry - it's the same day as the SD Regional). The conference is free and will be held at UCSD. Get more information and sign up here:

If you, or someone you know, is a girl or woman that is interested in STEM fields for college, take a look at this contest in conjunction with the upcoming movie "Hidden Figures". The movie tells the true story of black women who were "computors" for the launch of John Glenn, the first American astronaut to orbit the earth.
