Tao & Lovelace Interleague Championship -- 2/11 Francis Parker HS
Contact: Daniel Glenn [email protected]
As we close out the official season, remember that Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition® are at the heart of FIRST! For rookie teams, this means coming to the meets with a sense of curiosity and good sportsmanship. For more seasoned teams, it means the same plus paying forward all of the help and sense of inclusion you’ve received over the years to newer teams. Get to know one another, ask questions, answer questions and have FUN!
Registration
All teams and their mentors should be registered through the FIRST Registration System. There is no need to bring team rosters to the event.

Lunch & Snacks - Pre-Order Lunch for the Whole Team!
While teams are welcome to bring their own food to the venue, we will also be accepting advanced orders for your convenience and to contribute to feeding our volunteers. At these longer judged events it's especially helpful if you can purchase from us!
Choices: Cheese Pizza or Pepperoni Pizza. Number of slices per box is 12. Price is $20/box. Deadline is Thursday Feb 8, @1pm. The deadline is strict this time because of SuperBowl Sunday. Please indicate payment: Venmo to @rosaerwinasari (last four digit 3498) or CASH (please bring the CASH when you pick up the pizza). Proceeds will be used to feed our volunteers and offset the cost of janitorial and security services for the weekend! Thi sis not a fundraiser. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Robots, Pits, Inspections and Matches
Inspections are completed on a first come, first served basis and will start just after 8:00am. Plan to be fully inspected before judging if you have a later appointment. After you check-in and find your pit, please proceed to the inspection area or judging depending on your appointment time.
Your pit will be supplied with power but no table. Please bring your own table and gear that will fit in a (10x10) space. If you would like up to a 10x10 canopy you may use the frame only. We'll be assigning pit spaces for ease of judges locating your team. If you can, please have someone in your pit at all times that can talk to judges. Bring your team spirit and feel free to decorate your pit.
As a reminder, the host site is not responsible for robot/driver communications. Each team is responsible for ensuring their robot/driver communications are operable and that the latest updates have been downloaded and installed. Other teams may be able to assist you, but ultimately, it is your team’s responsibility to make sure your robot can communicate with your drive team. Wi-Fi will NOT be available at the venue.
Match lists will be handed out at the event usually just after the drivers meeting. All teams must be prepared for the possibility of being scheduled for the first match. Teams in the first match should place their robots on the field prior to the opening ceremony. This tournament will conclude with alliance selection based on FIRST rules (alliances of 3) and a double elimination tournament to determine our robot game champions.
This championship will include Judging. Teams are required to submit an Engineering Portfolio with their optional Control Award Submission Form tucked inside at check-in for the Judges. Judge interviews will be scheduled in advance and published to the teams shortly before the tournament.
Safety goggles are required by anyone visiting the Pits or within 5 feet of the playing field. Please bring enough safety goggles for each team member and guests who will visit the Pits.
Please be gracious guests and help keep the venue clean, especially the many drones we expect to see!
