The deadline and process to nominate your students for the 2024-2025 Dean’s List Award is outlined below.
Important Dates:
Note: Details of the Dean's List Interview event are still being finalized. This has been an all-virtual process in the past. This year the committee is discussing returning to in-person interviews.
(Final Interview platform and interview schedules TBD).
Student Eligibility:
Every registered team may submit two (2) students as FIRST Dean’s List Award Semi-finalists.
Students must be a sophomore (grade 10) or junior (grade 11) to be eligible for this award.
Nomination Process:
Student nomination(s) are done electronically from the Team Registration Dashboard through the FIRST Tech Challenge Dean’s List Award System (see detailed instructions in attached Submission Guideline).
Please choose the following event when nominating your student(s).
FIRST Tech Challenge
CA-San Diego FTC Dean's List Interviews
The coach or mentor nominating the student(s) must submit an essay explaining why the student should receive this award. The essay must be 4,000 characters or less.
REMEMBER! :
All nominations must be uploaded to the FIRST Dean’s List site via the Team Registration System no later than January 15th, 8:59 pm PST
No late submissions will be accepted by FIRST under any circumstances.
Please choose the Dean’s List Interview Only event (02-23-2025) when submitting the nomination.
