Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition® are at the heart of FIRST! For rookie teams, this means coming to the meets with a sense of curiosity and good sportsmanship. For more seasoned teams, it means the same plus paying forward all of the help and sense of inclusion you’ve received over the years to newer teams. Get to know one another, ask questions, answer questions and have FUN!
Registration
All teams and their mentors should be registered through the FIRST Registration System. There is no need to bring team rosters to the event.

Volunteering
League meets depend on volunteers and we can really use your help! Each team is required to provide at least one volunteer for each event. To volunteer, please sign-up through the FIRSTinspires.org Volunteer Management System (VMS) using the following links:

Choices include cheese and pepperoni pizza (12 slices per box), chips, cookies, churros, and water. The deadline for orders is Wednesday, Jan 16th at 12pm. Payment instructions are on the order form below. Proceeds will be used to feed our volunteers and offset the facility costs for the weekend! Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Matches of course will be a learning experience until we get into a rhythm.
Please bring Safety glasses if you have them! They are always hard to come by and if we do locate some they are never "all day" good. Be prepared to stand especially for Referees.

Location, Load-In/Out and Parking
Where: Sage Creek HS
Take the first driveway on the left after passing College Blvd. This will take you to the upper and lower lots (Green and Blue on the map below). Park anywhere in these lots. OK, not anywhere, but any parking spot in these lots, but not the Handicap parking spots, unless you have a Handicap sticker, then go for it.
It’s a hike up the hill if parking in the lower lot. If you want to drop off your hardware closer to the gym, go to the second left (red on the map) and drop off your stuff at the circle drive. Don’t park in this area. You won't get a ticket, but unattended vehicles will be towed, sold, and proceeds donated to Sage Creek High Robotics. You will receive a thank you card for your donation.
Upper parking lot and drop off circle are on the same level as the gym, so no stairs or ramps.
From the upper parking lot, proceed north through the gates past the left side of the performing arts center and to the right of the football field. Check in will be right there.

Robots, Pits, Inspections and Matches
Inspections are completed on a first come, first served basis and will start just after 8:00am. Plan to be fully inspected by 9:30am at the latest. After you check-in and find your pit, please proceed to the inspection area.
Your pit will be outside and will be supplied with power but no table. Please bring your own table and gear that will fit in a 10x10 space. Please bring a pop-up (10x10) for shade. We'll continue the practice of having you choose a pit space. Bring your team spirit and feel free to decorate your pit.
As a reminder, the host site is not responsible for robot/driver communications. Each team is responsible for ensuring their robot/driver communications are operable and that the latest updates have been downloaded and installed. Other teams may be able to assist you, but ultimately, it is your team’s responsibility to make sure your robot can communicate with your drive team. Wi-Fi will NOT be available at the venue.
Match lists will be handed out at the event. All teams must be prepared for the possibility of being scheduled for the first match. Teams in the first match should place their robots on the field prior to the Coaches and Drivers Meeting. We plan to bring back mini-tournaments, with alliance selection at the end of the meets as we have in some previous years. These tournaments are for fun and experience and do NOT affect region standings in any way. We will have bleachers and plenty of room for spectators so bring your fans to cheer you on!
Engineering Notebooks/Portfolios are NOT required for Meets 1-3.
Safety goggles are required by anyone visiting the Pits or within 5 feet of the playing field. Please bring enough safety goggles for each team member and guests who will visit the Pits.
There won't be any judging during Meet #3
Please be gracious guests and help keep the venue clean. PLEASE NO FOOD IN THE GYM!
