Tournament Hosts Requirements 2019-2020
Each League Meet Host is expected to:
1) Its preferred that a host "host" at least 2 league meets for the season or 1 league meet and a league championship*1
2) Bring the game element set to the regional tournament, along with your field perimeter, for either the main regional tournament fields or as the practice fields.
3) Maintain the season game element set and notify the Region Field Leader of any deficiencies that need correction.
4) Maintain their own good field tile set and perimeter and notify the Region Field Leader of any deficiencies that need correction.
5) Have an assigned Certified FIRST trained Volunteer Coordinator who will ensure the following positions are filled, as well as those required in the League Meet guide:
A) One lead referee who is assigned by the Region's Lead Referee, certified/trained per FIRST Guidelines as well scorekeepers, support referees who are not associated with any specific team, also certified/trained per FIRST Guidelines
B) Certified (FIRST trained) Robot Inspectors from the attending team's pool of volunteers (the region will help coordinate this)*2
C) Certified (FIRST trained) Field Inspectors from the attending team's pool of volunteers (the region will help coordinate this)*2
*1) Exceptions are on a case by case basis. Teams that are able to host more than 2 meets will be credited for their registration fees, provided a gift card or other incentive as deemed appropriate by the Affiliate Partner
*2) This is subject to change depending on how the planned "compulsory" volunteers program works out

League Meet Hosts (first 3 weeks)
The region will provide the following:
1) One full game set at the beginning of the season for the host's teams to use throughout the season (equal to approximately $500 - if they host two events). The region can provide a gift card to a robot part supply company in lieu of the field elements if the host purchases their own elements. The Gift card will be $250 for hosting one event, $500 for two.
2) Replacement game elements as needed.
3) A banner for a "League Meet Host" for the current season
4) One kit of miscellaneous equipment, including volunteer vests, clipboards, etc. - see the list below for general and game specific items (This is being upgraded currently).

The region will also provide the following for Championship hosts:

1) $500 gift card to cover meals for the volunteers at the League Championship or reimbursement up to $500 for those meals.

Provide approximately 4 additional classrooms for judging interviews
Same as above but also ensure these additional positions are filled:
D) Certified (FIRST trained) Judges as provided by the Region's Judging Coordinator
