As we resume the thrill of live FTC competitions this season, protection against the spread of Covid-19 is an important aspect to gathering.
The San Diego FTC region has put in place reasonable regional guidelines to ensure the safety of students, coaches, mentors, our hosts' communities and the San Diego FTC community at large. The documents below detail our approach to balance gathering relevant information with the desire to admit our teams and each team's community members so we can all safely enjoy competing.

Changes starting January 2021 for all League Meets (until changed)
- Events are open to Team Members, Coaches/Mentors and Volunteers only until further notice
- Victor Ciccarelli, San Diego FTC Operations Chief, will be collecting all COVID documentation and tracking team compliance for each event
- Each attendee will be given a N95 mask at each event that must be worn at all times during the event, whether inside or out
Teams must complete the following for each team member 1 week before the event date
- Complete the Event Waiver and Release and Contact Tracing Form for each person attending
- The day of the event you coach will provide the information to hosts who will provide a wristband for every qualified person with your team community. Wristbands will be your indication of admittance to the event. You can use the wrist band for re-entry to the event as well.

- To show a negative test result from a Covid-19 test taken in the 72-hour window before a competition OR proof of vaccination
- Complete a verbal on-site health screen
- Complete an on-site temperature check
- Complete and sign the Event Waiver and contact tracing form
If you are presenting a negative Covid-19 test result
- An over-the-counter test is acceptable
- Test result must show your name, date/time of test, and a negative result
- Results can be show on a mobile device (IE: picture or email that shows your name, date/time/ and negative result)
- Test result must be within the 72-hour before window of the event
