Fleet Science Center has invited us to see a FREE preview screening of Dream Big: Engineering Our World. It will be Monday, March 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Fleet Science Center. The film will be introduced by one of its stars, Fredi Lajvardi. Fredi is the program director for the Marine Science Magnet Program at Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix, AZ, and the leader of the Falcon Robotics Team. The team has received worldwide recognition after winning MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education), a nation-wide underwater robotics competition, besting college teams from schools like Harvard and MIT. They now also compete in FIRST.
