Congratulations on completing your state's/country's FTC Rover Ruckus season! Now that the season has ended for the majority of your FTC students, it is a great time to keep them engaged with the program by giving them a chance to compete with teams from all around the world at the Maryland Tech Invitational 2019. Winning MTI teams will receive cash grants to offset the costs of their 2019-2020 FTC season. We are excited to offer an enrichment program the Friday before the competition, the TechAction STEM Exposition. This free program will focus on cutting edge missions at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Space Sector. Students and their mentors will hear first hand from the scientists and engineers who work on these inspiring projects. Also in the works - an intern recruitment program for rising college freshmen. We hope kick this off in 2019 for internships in the summer of 2020. The MTI has already been directly responsible for students landing coveted tech internships here in Maryland. We plan to make this process more formal. We are still working out the details so can't make any formal announcements at this time. Please share the attached notice about the Maryland Tech Invitational 2019 with your teams. Applications will be accepted through March 23rd. Thank you for your support!
